When reporting a bug, please include your device model, operating system version and app version; it makes the cause much easier to find. The app version is at the bottom of the Settings window, opened with the gear button on the home screen. If the problem is with a particular sentence, please tell us the level number or the date of the sentence of the day.

Frequently asked questions

A sentence or its explanation looks wrong.

Email us the level number and what is wrong, and we will check and fix it. If you are a rights holder of an original text and do not want a sentence to be used, please contact the same address; we will correct or remove it after checking.

I don’t have enough coins.

You earn coins when you clear a level for the first time, earn new stars, or solve the sentence of the day. If you don’t want to wait, tap the coin display at the top of the home screen or Watch an ad for coins in the Settings window to get coins by watching an ad (5 times a day). Coins cannot be bought with money, and there is no payment feature.

An ad doesn’t play, or the app says there is no ad.

Ads are unavailable when there is no internet connection or no ad to show at that moment. Please wait a little and tap Try again. Closing an ad before it ends gives no reward. Because this app requests only general-audience ads for everyone, there are sometimes fewer ads available.

An ad plays every time I start a level.

No ad is shown for the first 10 levels after installing, or for the first level after opening the app. After that, using an ad-free ticket on the level-complete screen skips the ad for the next level. You receive an ad-free ticket for solving the sentence of the day, and you can also buy them with coins in the shop.

I lost all my lives.

You can get one life and carry on by spending coins or by watching an ad (once per round). Choosing Try again restarts the same sentence from the beginning with new numbers.

The average time doesn’t appear on the result screen.

An average is produced only after at least 30 players have solved that level, so newly opened or rarely solved levels show no comparison yet. Averages are updated once a day, and the app fetches new values every 12 hours while connected to the internet.

My records and coins are gone.

Progress, records and coins are stored only on your phone, not on our servers, and there is no account. Uninstalling the app therefore deletes all of it, and we cannot restore it. When you change devices, it may be carried over if you have operating system backup (Google account backup, iCloud backup) turned on; otherwise you start from the beginning.

How do I turn off the sound?

Tap the gear button on the home screen and turn off Sound in the Settings window.

Can I play without the internet?

Yes. The puzzle sentences are included in the app, so you can solve them offline. Watching ads for coins and updating the average time do need an internet connection.

What information do you collect?

We do not ask for your name, age or contact details, and we do not use advertising identifiers. Only anonymous usage statistics are sent, to improve the game. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
